This magnificent and stately Eagle is brought into being from a fantastic piece of Picasso marble by Stewart Alonzo. Expertly carved so that the black inclusion line of the stone, separating the brown section from the grey section, runs perfectly at the eagles eye line giving this elegant bird a painted face. Incised feather details further accentuate the piece rather than taking away from the beauty of the stone. The watchful eagle measures about 2" long, 3/4" wide and about 1 5/8" tall with inlaid eyes of turquoise.
