Late summer is a quiet season of sorts for many Owl species who enjoy roosting in secluded tree cavities. The A:Shiwi (The People) call an owl the Night Grandfather because he does his work at night watching over everyone. Eli Cheama's perched raptor has been carved from Picasso marble and inlaid with turquoise eyes that shine with emotion. Plumage and feet scutes are sweetly detailed. About 1 5/8" tall, 3/4" wide and 1 3/8" deep.
