Polar bears are not a traditionally carved animal for Pueblo People. They are especially sacred to the Inuit and Alaska's Indigenous Peoples who regard them much in the same way Pueblo People do a white Bear, a powerful creature who is considered to have extra healing qualities. A pure and sweet spirit emanates from Eli Cheama's fish rock serpentine polar bear. A too-cute nose is from jet as are the loving eyes. Dimensions of this marine animal are approximately 3 1/2" long, 1" wide and 1 1/2" tall.
