Nacozari turquoise is a prized variety that was once harvested from a now defunct copper mine in Sonora, Mexico. This gem quality stone is cherished for a bright robin's egg blue color. Kateri Quandelacy Sanchez carved a watchful Nacozari turquoise Owlet who analyzes the hidden mysteries after-hours through precious eyes from jet and gold lip mother-of-pearl shell inlays. Etched plumage is accented with fringe detail. A precious twilight thinker measuring approximately 1 3/8" tall, 1 1/4" wide and 3/8" deep.
