Eagle's magnificence is on display in Davis Coonsis' black lip shell carving. Powerful wings and tail feathers are intricately incised enhanced by the shell's stunning iridescence. An etched zigzag distinguishes the head's contour feathers from the rest of the body. Sharp eyes are from turquoise inlays. The raptor itself is about 4 1/8" long, 3 3/4" wide and 3/4" tall. It shows beautifully with or without the complimentary wooden stand. An exquisite 2-piece set.
