Bear is created from a wonderful lava rock found by Wilson Romero. The volcanic stone or scoria has incredible voids like delicious baby Swiss cheese. The holes were formed when the rock was still hot magma bubbling with pockets of gas that were trapped as the molten rock cooled. The animal carving retains the natural rough texture of the stone and some of the vesicles. Approximately 5 3/4" long, 2" wide and 4 5/8" tall.
