This offering is sold.

Stewart Quandelacy's artistry descends through his late mother Ellen Quandelacy who learned the art of stone carving from her father Johnny Quam. He works collaboratively with his wife Priscilla Lasiloo Quandelacy. Their arched back Medicine-bear from lapis lazuli serves a specific purpose, to remind us of the entrance to a bear's cave or den where it goes to torpor healing and becoming stronger. The animal medicine teaches us that we too have an amazing healing potential within ourselves. A powerful link between our thoughts and physical health can influence our well-being. An alternating heartline or breath path and gentle eyes are from turquoise inlays. Measurements are about 2 5/8" long, 3/8" wide and 2 1/2" tall.
