Moles are quite happy living with poor eyesight because they simply use other wonderful senses to thrive. Their sense of touch, hearing and smell are spectacular. Perhaps we should imitate their example by trusting our other instincts to survive, instead of the things we see right before us. Carved from an ancient fossilized corallite called Petoskey stone, this etched-eyed beneath the ground critter is measuring about 2 3/8" long, 1" wide and 3/4" tall, by Rosella and Loubert Soseeah. It is nicely polished.
