Indigenous Peoples have been in the company of horned Lizards since the beginning. Their likeness has been found on petroglyphs and pottery among other places. For the A:Shiwi (The People), horned lizards are highly-respected, associated with the Red Ant Society. Mexican cultures also honor them attributing the words: "Don't tread on me! I am the color of the earth and I hold the world; therefore walk carefully, that you do not tread on me." Kenric Laiwakete's lovely fluorite horned lizard inhales the morning's sweet freshness. A heartline or breath path and eyes are from clean turquoise inlays. Approximately 1 1/2" long, 1 3/8" wide and 1 5/8" tall.
