Dutiful Scaled Quail & Chick

Derrick Kaamasee has captured the spirit of a protective scaled quail father as it dutifully stands guard. The crested bird's head is slightly tilted just like in nature as the male birds faithfully watch over their families. The antler hosts fine details like layered plumage and red coral inlaid eyes. A precious little chick is also beautifully depicted in this approximately 2 5/8" tall, 1/2" wide and 1" deep fetish.
