Roadrunners know how to think on their feet. Intelligent, they have quick reflexes thanks to their long legs. These fearless birds survive by running in a horizontal position with their tail held flat and their head and chest tilted forward and down, level with the ground. We love Bernie Laselute's rendition of New Mexico's state bird, thoughtfully detailed in a desert-hued Picasso marble. A crested head with turquoise eyes and a fantastic beak, not to mention a great set of upright tail feathers, adorn this approximately 2 1/2" long, 3/4" wide and 1 3/8" tall desert bird.
