Milford Nahohai's cosmic prayer bowl holds the universe and its harmonious system of planets, shooting stars and galactic superclusters. Dragonflies adorn the outside of the bowl which is a symbol of water, abundance and longevity. About 4 1/4" long, 4 1/2" wide and 2 7/8" tall, from hand-dug natural clay, pigments and sparkling micaceous paint. Signed by the artist who descends from a prominent pottery-making family.
