Bear has been carved from an incredible Picasso marble exhibiting stunning brown and grey-hued layers reminiscent of a steep cliff face. During its geologic formation, iron oxides may have seeped into the Picasso marble creating the gorgeous brown layers and veins. Mighty sentient bears have many gifts including climbing vertical canyon walls in search of food. Beautiful Mexican black bears have been documented climbing the canyon walls of Big Bend National Park. Emotional eyes are from turquoise inlays. About 2 1/4" long, 3/4" wide and 1 1/4" tall.
