By Andrew Quam

Animal: Frog, Material: Composite Turquoise
This offering is sold.

Andrew Quam's artistic lineage is amazing. He is from the late Johnny Quam, Andrew Emerson Quam and Bossie Quam family of recognized Zuni artists. Andrew's mother was Rosalia Quam who learned the art from her step-father George Cheechee Haloo. She was popular for stringing bird fetishes and also for animal carvings. Rosalia and her husband Andrew Emerson Quam taught their children, including Andrew how to carve.

Andrew's cheery Frog pendant has been polished and refined from a composite turquoise. Happy apple coral eyes and accents spots are set, while webbed feet are from jet paste. Including silver bale, dimensions are about 1 1/2" long and 1 1/4" wide. The nice silver snake chain is not included but is available and sold separately here.
