Robert Michael Weahkee is a fourth-generation carver from Zuni Pueblo. His grandmother was renowned Zuni artist Edna Leki. He said "I would love to say Elahkwa (thank you in Zuni) to the Keshi family for giving me the opportunity and supporting my art journey." Since Keshi opened its doors in 1981, the purpose has been to create a place where the Zuni People can sell their unique work at an equitable price.
