Robert Michael Weahkee is a fourth-generation carver from Zuni Pueblo. His grandmother was renowned Zuni artist Edna Leki. He said "I would love to say Elahkwa (thank you in Zuni) to the Keshi family for giving me the opportunity and supporting my art journey." Since Keshi opened its doors in 1981, the purpose has been to create a place where the Zuni People can sell their unique work at an equitable price. When you shop keshi.com you're supporting an Indigenous artist like Michael who sets his own wholesale prices in keeping with our mission of promoting fair treatment of artists.

Robert's delightful barn Owl ornament has been lovingly carved and burnished from antler, suspended from leather. Protective eyes are from turquoise inlays and an warm offering necklace has clear quartz and gold tone beads. This decorative ornament hangs at about 9" long, 6 1/2" wide and 1 3/4" deep.
