Beavers are amazing hydrologists who impact river water by slowing it, spreading it and storing it. Importantly, they do not stop water altogether. They help mitigate drought conditions through their dams that can store water on the surface and absorb it into the ground, which can increase stream flow during droughts. Calvert Bowannie's handsome rhyolite water creature has turquoise inlaid eyes and a wonderful cross-hatched tail. About 2" long, 1 3/8" wide and 7/8" tall.
