A wonderful technique of ornamentation called sgraffito has been applied to a rich pipestone
Badger revealing great contrasting color. Some of the design elements include florets, feathers and Zuni Rainbirds known as the The Bringer Of Life, representing prayers for rain and snow. Accent inlays are from turquoise, while turquoise eyes tell of a determined spirit in this approximately 2 1/2" long, 1 1/8" wide and 3/4" tall beneath the ground creature by Adrian Cachini.
