This sweet older Horse
has been in my collection for over 35 years. The old-style of it and the fact that it is made from jet (fossilized coal) from Acoma Pueblo, made it very special for me. And of course, it’s a horse! It is a great size to carry in your cornmeal bag or pocket when you want to focus on accessing your power through cooperation, not coercion. It’s mane is carved on both sides and its tail goes to the ground. After all these years I still love it. This piece is by an unknown carver and measures 2" long by 1" tall and has eyes of turquoise.
