Vulture Custodian

The approximate 23 vulture species around the planet are vital to many ecosystems because they clean up carcasses that if left untouched would spread disease. Hiram Peynetsa carves extraordinary vultures like this black marble and apple coral bird that's perched at about 2 5/8" tall, 3/4" wide and 3 1/2" long, with discerning eyes from inlaid turquoise. Its collar is nicely etched with sgraffito detailing. Vultures are nature's clean up crew.
