Owls do not make the hollows in trees where they nest and roost. Instead they rely on natural decay or abandoned nest cavities excavated by other animals such as woodpeckers. Robert Michael Weahkee carved this sweetest turquoise in jet-eyed raptor from antler, bestowing a lovely amber, quartz, charoite and amethyst bead offering necklace to this approximate 4" tall, 2" wide and 1 3/4" deep burnished bird who's ready to nest.
