Many incised kernels surrounded by protective husks are seen in Kateri Quandelacy Sanchez's meaningful Corn pendant. It is reversible and carved from a lovely green turquoise. The Zuni people were farmers and corn was among their main staples, a vital crop for physical sustenance, ceremony and daily use, including today. With a sterling silver bale fixture, this essential and irresistibly plump pendant is about 2" long, 3/4" wide and 1/2" deep. The silver snake chain is available and sold separately here.
