Nacozari turquoise is no longer mined in Sonora, Mexico. This highly sought-after variety of turquoise is cherished for its bright sky blue natural hue. Kateri Quandelacy Sanchez has brought us this sweet Corn-maiden pendant carved from Nacozari turquoise with an overlaid gold lip shell face. A red coral embellishment adorns her, while individually etched corn kernels are given. An incised and darkened with jet paste Dragonfly and star elements are seen on the reverse side making this pendant really reversible if desired. Including silver bale fixture, this must-have fetish pendant is approximately 1 3/4" long, 7/8" wide and 1/2" deep.
