Bridging worlds Fitz Kiyite's Dragonfly
messenger hovers around a Zuni watering hole, at about 2" long, 2" wide by 3/4" tall. The carving is accented by beautiful cross-hatched wings of abalone shell and bulbous eyes of serpentine. Bands of jet, angelite and turquoise are also used to create this dragonfly, which is recognized as a sign of water. Where there is a dragonfly, there is water; where there is water, there is life.
