Daphne and Leland Boone's used an amazing piece of rusty red and black obsidian to carve this special winged companion. The circular black patterns in the stone at the face give the carving a look of an Owl
especially when paired with the bright turquoise eyes that glow against the obsidian. Delicate incising on the wings give the bird it's feather detail while the rest of the carving is glass smooth. This carving in flight measures about 2 3/8" long, 1 1/4" wide by 1/2" tall.
