Master carver Sandra Quandelacy's enlightened Grandmother is hewn from scenic picture jasper. Some refer to it as a landscape stone believing it provides a connection to the earth and helps sort things out in finding our path in life. We don't see many fetishes from Sandra with a single hair bun traditionally styled in the back of the head, so this approximate 2 3/4" tall, 7/8" wide and 7/8" deep fetish is special. She's decorated with turquoise inlays. Facial features are incised and darkened with jet paste, like the
Dragonfly elements on her clothing.
