At 1 1/8" tall this little Hummingbird is as sweet as the nectar that fuels its abundant energy. The ricolite it is carved from is a special serpentine found only in southern New Mexico near the Gila river, the same area many hummingbirds migrate to in the summer months. We love the detail Danette incised in the wings and tail. The long, nectar-sipping beak is delicate mother of pearl shell. The eyes are inlaid turquoise.
