Wilson Romero's strong
Bear has been carved from found stone. An amazing chert point is attached. Chert is a compact rock consisting essentially of microcrystalline quartz. In the old days, Indigenous Peoples made projectile points from materials that were easy to pressure-flake into small triangular shapes with sharp edges, like jasper, obsidian and a few varieties of chert. They were roughly triangular in shape with flat to concave bases. These arrow points were essential in hunting and warfare. Wilson's wonderful friend is about 4 1/8" long, 2 1/2" wide and 2 3/8" tall.
