Maiden Seed Pottery Bowl

Jaren Cachini is a wonderfully talented young artist in a varied area of disciplines. This piece is especially exciting as it is a bit of departure from his typical katsina doll carvings or his other stone carving works. Signed and dated, this hand form natural clay seed bowl is delicately painted with mineral paints featuring a gorgeous maiden in a monta dress with a feather plume in her hair. The piece is hollow with a small opening at the top and measures about 4" in diameter and stands at 4" tall.
