We're happy to welcome Gary Concho to Keshi's website. His mother is renowned potter Rachel Concho who taught him all the traditional pottery making techniques she'd learned from her mother Santana Cerno (d). Gary's wife is fellow potter Lisa Little. Hand-coiled and hand-painted with natural clay and mineral pigments, Gary's small seed pottery has many great creatures. We see
Lizard,
Hummingbird, fish and quail harmoniously represented on this approximately 2 3/4" wide, 2 3/4" deep and 2 3/8" tall piece. Clay seed jars were used in the old days to store precious seeds. Signed by the artist.
