We're happy to welcome Alexis Hustito to Keshi's website. This original and colorful Corn painting is reflective of Alexis' regard of this important food source. The Zuni people were farmers and corn was among their main staples. Pueblo people call corn itself "the mother" because of their dependance on corn, and corn's emergence from the primary mother, Earth itself. Pueblo-inspired designs, and perhaps a bird, are seen in the background of this work.
About 14" by 17", signed by the artist. This acrylic on masonite board painting has been professionally framed. Extra shipping charges may apply.
