These double sided corn maidens, from the hands of Daniel Chattin, dance in their shawls and draw you in for a closer look. Carved from a wonderfully rich and mottled magnesite, the maidens are accented with inlaid turquoise and coral stone, while the face details are darkened with jet paste. Look closely and you'll also see incised Dragonflies, dancing along side the maidens in this magnificent piece. The corn maiden pair stand about 2 3/4" tall by 2 1/4" across and has a thickness that varies to about 1/2" at most.
