An exquisite composition by Cameron Kalestewa was intricately burnt out, accomplished with the pyrogravure art technique. This involves burning a design on a surface such as wood, with a heated object. The name pyrogravure comes from the Greek words pur and graphos meaning "writing with fire". Gorgeous pink, magenta, white, green and purple acrylic paints bring out the hearts and roses pleasingly, as they're nestled in among the pueblo-inspired designs, such as a pueblo village, an olla jar, feathers, arrow and perhaps rainbird elements. A stunning woodwork, it measures approximately 12" wide, 12" long and 3/4" thick. Signed by the artist on the front and back. Extra shipping charges may apply.
