Hututu is a sacred katsina who is the Rain Priest of The South and a deputy to the Longhorn Katsina during Sha'lak'o, an annual religious ceremony held at Zuni Pueblo. He makes a sound like his name. Hand-carved from cottonwood and painted with nice acrylics, Adrian Leon's miniature katsina doll is about 2 1/4" tall, 1 1/4" wide and 1 1/8" deep, measurements include the base. Other embellishments include pipecleaner, feathers, cloth and thread wooden bead and stick. Signed by the artist.
