Adrian Leon's miniature "Hopi
Owl" katsina doll is an exquisite 2 1/2" tall, 1 1/4" wide and 1" deep, measurements include base. Katsinas are various masked ancestral spirits who come during Hopi religious dances. Hand-carved from cottonwood and hand-painted with lively acrylic paints, Adrian added yucca spines, cloth, chicken feathers, cotton thread and pipe cleaner. A collectible traditional woodwork that's signed by the artist.
