Alan Lewis is a wonderful woodcarver creating delights like this approximate 6" tall, 4 5/8" wide and 4" deep charming pueblo home. Etched and burnished lines show the individual mud bricks or "adobes" that make the walls, supported by wood ceiling beams called "vigas". Traditional outdoor wood-baking ovens called "hornos" border this charming village hewn from cottonwood. Lovely purple plum and cerulean blue blended acrylics are hand-painted. Signed by the artist.
