Herbert Halate's nicely sized black Raven is carved of jet with incising marks for feather detail, about 6 3/4" long, 1" deep and 2 1/8" tall. Herbert also texturized this bird for further appeal. This corvid has intelligent eyes of inlaid turquoise and a simple sliver of turquoise for an elegant offering bundle.

Hayes Leekya's jolly Frog is carved of a type of travertine found only at Zuni Pueblo. With an endearing incised smile, overlaid eyes of mother-of-pearl and pen shell, plus red coral accents, it measures about 1 7/8" long, 1 3/8" wide and 7/8" tall. This amphibian would make a nice companion to keep next to one's nightstand or on their desk.

Lena & Evalena Boone
A bushytail can be a Coyote, Fox, or Wolf. It can be any of the three as needed, it is somewhat in the eye of the beholder and changeable. Each has a slightly different medicine. Lena Boone and her daughter Evalena carved this bushytail from a spectacular green turquoise and gifted it with an offering bundle of a spiny oyster point, red branch coral, and a blue turquoise nugget. About 3" long from its cute little nose to its generously bushy tail which is about 1" tall. The eyes are inlaid red coral.
Jayne Quam, Dine (Navajo)
Salvador Romero, Cochiti
This large primitive Mountain-lion is truly majestic. The way Salvador Romero interpreted the old style tradition of carving this big cat, with its tail curled up over the back, is sinuous and graceful, conveying not only the shape of this feline but the way it would move through its territory. With a well defined found stone point and coral and turquoise bead bundle tied to the right side, this collectable carving is about 10" long and 3 7/8" tall.

Pete Gasper, Jr.
Frogs come out after the cleansing and renewing desert summer rain. This frog looks like it just climbed right out of the #8 Turquoise mine in Eureka County, Nevada. Debra Gasper's signature silver inlaid eyes sparkle and shine, one from the center of a bright green turquoise spot. This carving feels smooth and warm in the hand and would be an excellent companion to take with you in a soft leather pouch . It is about 1 1/4" long and 3/8" tall.
Jason Bobelu's all hand-fabricated sterling silver, pink mussel shell mother-of-pearl, turquoise, and jet inlaid Dragonfly pin is about 2" long and has an approximate 2 1/4" wingspan. We love the spiral element and the green turquoise with delicate matrix. Each color and line is a stone, cut to fit perfectly next to its neighbors, amazing! Signed by the artist.

Shannon Waatsa's latest canine bushytail (Coyote, Wolf or Fox) is singing its heart out. With tail curled around and eyes closed tight this petite little creature is carved from a wonderfully colored watermelon serpentine with a mix of greens with rusty red inclusions. The combination of the high smooth polish plus gentle curves gives the piece a superb feel in hand. Measuring about 1 1/4" long by 1" tall and 1/2" wide, this carving begs for a ride in your pocket to your next karaoke session.
