Dynamic streaks of orange and red colors, almost like heartlines, inhabit this glass bird brought to us by Veronica Poblano. Her family lineage is important as her father was noted and iconic Zuni carver Leo Poblano (d), nephew of Teddy Weahkee (d). This rich artistic legacy continues in all that Veronica creates.
Including the iridescent abalone base, this feathered friend with turquoise inlaid eyes and accents, is about 2" long, 1" wide and 3/4" tall. This beautiful bird is nestled within crushed turquoise pieces. Veronica's sterling silver signature label is permanently attached on the underside of this exquisite work.
