Doting Mother Elephant & Calf

A devoted mother elephant and her calf have been affectionally carved by Maxx Laate. Each intelligent pachyderm has jet inlaid eyes. The natural vertical striations within the antler work well to suggest textured skin. Elephant calves are the apple of their mother's eye, staying super close for the first few months and nursing for around two years. During this time, a protective mother will ensure her offspring get the best food and are taught vital survival skills. About 1" tall, 1 5/8" wide and 1 1/2" deep.
