Andres Quandelacy's reversible Picasso marble donkey pendant necklace is really special! The "naja" or crescent shaped portion of the donkey pendant is a design the Quandelacy family is known for. They carve this "naja" right into the stone's center, instead of attaching a metal bale. This style was started by Johnny Quam and continued by his daughter Ellen Quandelacy and right down the family line.
Donkeys are smart and self-willed creatures. The sweet donkey pendant portion is about 2" long and 1 1/2" tall, while necklace's overall length is about 19" long. Strung with a double strand of lovely green turquoise, lapis, melon shell, garnet, jet and fossilized ivory beads. This wonderful donkey has eyes of inlaid turquoise. Andres' sterling silver signature label is attached.
