A feeling of freedom resides in Andres Quandelacy's reversible
Horse pendant necklace. Spirited turquoise eyes are set into an iridescent mother-of-pearl pony pendant carved with a "naja" or crescent shape, which is a unique design the Quandelacy family is known for. They carve this naja right into the stone or shell's center instead of attaching a metal bale. This distinctive feature was started by Johnny Quam (d) and continued by his daughter Ellen Quandelacy (d) and right down the family line. Strung with an assortment of beads that are both rounded and barrel-shaped such as green and blue turquoises, lapis lazuli, plus red and orange spiny oyster shell. Andres' equine pendant necklace is about 20" long with a sterling silver signature label attached. The wonderful equine pendant including the naja is about 1 1/2" long and is 2" long from ears to tail.
