High up in the air a swirl of clouds intermix in a Zuni Pueblo sky, much like the lovely hues seen in this Larimar stone and sterling silver ring by Gloria Chattin. A soothing and natural material, it is found exclusively in the Dominican Republic. Larimar is difficult to carve because if its inherent hardness. Gloria's elegantly hewn Corn-maiden is set into a gorgeous sterling silver ring with stately bezel. Etched and darkened with jet paste features are seen, such as her assured eyes, ripe corn and a hovering Dragonfly. Lapis lazuli, turquoise and red coral adorn her. This is an approximate ring size 9 1/4", while the carved station is about 1 3/4" long, 3/8" deep and 1 1/4" wide.
