Classic Thunderbird Bolo

A master of stone work and channel inlay, April Unkestine brings us this classic thunderbird bolo tie. With great wings and tail feathers of pen shell and mother of pearl shell, this powerful bird creates thunder and calls forth the rain. April gave it a beak of bright red coral, and a bright blue turquoise head crest. The powerful breast of this great bird is mother of pearl, turquoise, and coral, creating a geometric pattern. The tail feather motif is repeated, dangling from the sterling silver tips. A bold bolo this bird is about 2" from head to tail with a 2" wingspan. The striking finishing tips are about 3"long with dangles that are about 1" wide. All hand fabricated and stamped by the artist.
