Frankie Poblano Chattin comes from the greater Teddy Weahkee (d) family of Zuni artists. His parents are well-known jewelers and carvers Jovanna Poblano and Daniel Chattin.
Carved in the old-style way, with a long tail up and over its backside, Frankie's approximate 4" long, 1" wide and 1 3/4" tall Mountain-lion (panther, puma or cougar) observes through eyes of white beads. This black marble specimen has neat speckled variations throughout. A shell point with quartz, turquoise and red coral beads is offered as a thanks for this great cat's medicine of setting good boundaries in our lives.
