An astute Owl has been smoothly carved out of Indian Paint stone by Christopher Sandoval. Indian Paint stone, also known as Death Valley Paint stone or Navajo Blanket stone is a gorgeous material that comes from the Death Valley area of California, where collecting is no longer allowed. Rich, deep brown and tan colors are enigmatic and full of strength. This raptor's turned head has eyes that have been inlaid with turquoise and exquisite plumage has been bestowed upon this approximate 3 1/2" long, 1 3/8" wide and 1 3/4" tall fetish.
