Burt Awelagte's looking-back Eagle (or Hawk who is little brother to eagle in the Zuni way) is creatively carved from a sublime onyx specimen. Sensing eyes are from inlaid turquoise. An offering necklace of gratitude is from a real little shell and turquoise beads. It is non-removable and permanently attached. An eagle's pattern of living teaches us to open our eyes and see the whole picture the way it does in nature. About 2 1/2" long, 1 3/4" wide and 2 1/2" tall.
