Fred Bowannie Jr. carved this delightful toad (or Frog ) from Two Grey Hills travertine.  The natural fissures and colors in this stone look like the natural colorations of the spade foot toad that emerges after a hard desert rain. About 2" long and 1" wide, this amphibian has froggy eyes of pen shell inlaid in pink mussel shell.
