Harkening back to the days before Uber or Lyft this Bear
is looking for a ride from his home town of Zuni to Gallup, New Mexico. Freddie Leekya's sense of humor is refreshing. He has carved this traveling bear, dressed as a man, from Zuni travertine holding a pen shell sign advertising his desired destination. He has pen shell soles on his shoes, inlaid turquoise poke-a-dots on his neckerchief, a turquoise belt buckle, inlaid turquoise buttons on his shirt, and inlaid turquoise adornments on his hat and belt. With inlaid turquoise eyes this hitchhiker is about 3" tall and 1 7/8" deep.
