Zuni Sunface Pendant With Snake Chain

The Zuni Pueblo people believe that the Sunface symbol is beneficial, as it represents balance in life: traditionally, turquoise stands for Father Sky, coral stands for Mother Earth, and mother-of-pearl shell and jet represent all the elements in balance. Tyrone Martinez's handmade sterling silver Zuni Sunface pendant is about 1 3/4" long including both the bale and lovely silver dangling feathers, and is 3/8" wide. The turquoise, red coral, golden gold lip shell and jet pieces are beautifully set side by side in the challenging stone-to-stone inlay technique.
