Spiders weave amazingly beautiful webs, teaching us that creativity can be part of our daily lives. Carved from hard-to-come-by pipestone, which is actually fossilized clay, Derrick Kaamasee's six turquoise-eyed Spider
is a furry one. Lots of incising is seen on the abdomen and head of this approximate 1 1/2" long, 1 1/4" wide and 1 1/4" tall arachnid. It has segmented legs and a set of fangs. Some spiders have six eyes, some have eight, the more the merrier.
