Fossilized ridged corals formed Petoskey stones, which are only found in Michigan. The stone was named for an Ottawa Native American Chief Pet-O-Sega. Evalena Boone selected this amazing fossil stone to carve a bushytail (Fox, Wolf or Coyote) with a lively disposition, expressed through turquoise inlaid eyes. A colorful orange spiny oyster shell point with natural branch red coral and green turquoise beads are secured to this approximate 4" long, 3/4" wide and 1 1/2" tall energetic canine.
